New Support Group Starting Up

Do you live in the Steuben County area or any of the surrounding counties? If so, would you be interested in attending a new HD support group for families that are coping with HD or anyone that has an interest in HD? Two Hornell area HD families, along with support from the HDSA Center of Excellence at the University of Rochester have graciously volunteered to start this new group that would meet monthly at St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, NY. beginning in mid-summer of 2005. Often traveling to attend the Rochester HD support group is too burdensome for those that live in outlying counties, such as Steuben. The group plans to meet monthly in the evening. The group will initially meet for six months and then re-evaluate it’s success for future plans. If you are interested and would like more information please contact Tammy Norton at (607)324-8761 during daytime or email her at thillman@sjmh.org.
