The Huntington's Disease Society of America invites you to attend a Caregiver's Corner webinar on THURSDAY, November 10 at noon EDT.

The November Caregiver's Corner, entitled "Functional Evaluation and Treatment for Gait and Balance", will feature the physicians and physical therapists from the HDSA Center of Excellence at Ohio State University. Dr. Sandra Kostyk, Dr. Deb Kegelmeyer and Dr. Anne Kloos will explore function-based evaluation and treatments for adults. Emphasis will be on application of research findings to the evaluation and treatment of gait and balance disorders. 

Dr. Kostyk is the Director of the HDSA Center of Excellence at Ohio State University. Dr. Kostyk's research focuses on neurodegenerative disorders, neuroprotection and neurorecovery particularly related to Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Spinal Cord Injury. Dr. Kegelmeyer has over 25 years of clinical experience and is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Allied Medicine at Ohio State University. Dr. Kloos is an Associate Professor of Clinical Allied Medicine at the Ohio State University, and is known for her work in the areas of balance and fall prevention in individuals with neurodegenerative diseases.

Caregiver's Corner is designed to provide information, resources and support for caregivers so they are better able to face the daily challenges of living with HD.
